52 Mondays came to me in a fit of New years resolution fury. It seems I am always starting my "diet" or exercise plan on "Monday"! Well lots of "Mondays" have come and gone and my butt and thighs are still as thick as a Chick-filet shake (you know what I'm talking about!!) That is when I thought OK there are 52 Mondays in year...52 is a doable number of making small changing in my life that will hopefully change to number on the scale in a downward fashion. Hello weekend...

OK, here comes the best and worst part of my week. It seems like the weekends are the hardest days for my diet. I just am so tempted to be on vacation mode and snarf up all the good (aka evil) stuff. Luckily for me Tom is on board with me and that definitely makes it easier to stay on track. I also have found some things that are yummy and within the plan. I think I am going to make a "diet coke cake" for a treat this weekend. Yeah sad that I am already thinking about what treat I can have. But planning leads to sucess right, if I don't plan I will wake up with Ben and Jerry's smeared all over my face and not remember what had happened the night before. So my goal for the weekend is to just stay on track, and not get derailed by the weekend. Mmmmmmm......Ben and Jerry's.....


  1. You know what I have been craving more than Phish food is the Red Mango (original with raspberries). Of course I went there last weekend and got the tropical one and was a little disapointed, and that picture you posted does look good. Good luck this weekend everyone. Candi

  3. Me too, and I haven't even been there yet. We will have to go sometimg. Dani, they have some good icecream on the market that are half the fat, they are pretty good for an indulgence. (We had some this weekend, fudge tracks). But they are not individual serving size, so you have to measure. Hyrum has a Phish Food in the fridge, very tempting! But I haven't indulged. What is the recipe for your Coke Cake? Love, Mom
